MATERIAL

Most customer still can’t confirm which material available for their sealing application, so when you choose please remember rubber’s elasticity, compress ability, durability is important to rubber sealing products. Following is we commonly recommend rubber material,

EPDM are very widely used in all of general-purpose application, especially for outdoor use.
Silicone are widely used in special industrial, resistance high and low temperature, various colors can be modulated and flexible performance.
Nitrile (NBR) can provide a very good abrasive resistance, especially resistance oil and also can be customized for outdoor use.
Neoprene (CR) can provide widely chemical resistance, fire resistance is it’s unique property, cost is expensive than nitrile rubber.
Regarding Plastic materials are commonly used in edge trim application, and price is cheap then rubber.
PVC is often used in outdoor application, providing both durability and flexibility.
TPV/TPE is thermoplastic elastomer, it combine both rubber and plastic properties and is a versatile material.
TOOLING

OMIT RUBBER produce all extrusion seals by our own tooling dies, we are welcome customized tooling die and our engineer can give advice from design to finish prototype.
